Nrisimha Mahotsav today

GUWAHATI, May 2: Intertiol Society for Krish Consciousness (ISKON), Guwahati is going to organize a grand celebrations - Nrisimha Chaturdashi Mahotsav 2015 - on May 3 on its premises of Sri Sri Rukmini Krish Temple, South Sarania, Ulubari in Guwahati.
Lord Nrisimha, who is glorified for protecting His devotee Prahlad, is worshipped worldwide for His divine protection upon His devotees. Nrisimha Chaturdashi Mahotsav is aimed at invoking Lord Nrisimhadev’s mercy for peace and protection of the people of the Northeast at large.
On May 3, there will be 12-hour Hariam Sankirtan from 5:30 am to 5:30 pm. In the evening there will be Nrisimha Avahan Yaj at 5:30 pm, followed by Abhishek of Lord Nrisimha at 7 pm and Nrisimha Lila and a drama at 7:45 pm. The programme will conclude at 8:15 pm with Sandhya Arati and Anukalpa prasadam distribution.
For the transcendental pleasure of the Lord, there has been ‘Hariam Japa Yaj’ since Akshay Tritiya, April 21.
