Siba Chandra Kakati
Siba Chandra Kakati, IPS (retd), who joined the first post –independence batch of Assam Police in 1948-49 and later in the Indian Police Service retiring as the first Director of Police, State Fire Services, Assam, expired on January 13, 2018, at his residence. He was 92.
