Obituary Surabhi Borah

 Surabhi Borah breathed her last at 12:50 am on August 20, 2017 at Guwahati. Hailing from Fauzdari Patti in gaon, she spent a considerable time in Shillong and then at Kharguli in Guwahati for the past two decades.  She leaves behind her spouse Ramal Chandra Borah, daughters Sharmistha and Sangjukta, son-in-law yan and grandchildren Taaya and Tanuj. A very socially active lady while in Shillong and in Guwahati she was actively involved in varied socio-religious organizations. She was also an entrepreneur starting a boutique hand-woven ethnic trousseau and other dresses - with the brand – Surabhi’s - way back in early 2000 and had a select and niche clientele base.  A very friendly amicable soul she had this endearing charm of making quick friends more akin to a family member, she will be missed by all her loved and dear ones.
