Om celebrated in city

GUWAHATI, Sept 26:  The Greater Gauhati Kerala Samajam (GGKS) -- a social, cultural and charitable organization registered way back in 1962 -- celebrated Om at Louhitya Hall at Pan Bazar in the city recently. The celebration starting with the lighting of the traditiol lamp and address by GGKS president VK Sivasankaran was marked by cultural programmes by children, followed by Osandhya (sumptuous delicacies of Kerala) served in plantain leaves. Meritorious Malayalee students who came up with flying colours in the matriculation examitions were also felicitated at the function.
