GUWAHATI, May 9: The Chandmari police have arrested one Dilip Paswan (26) from Gandhibasti on Tuesday evening allegedly on kidnapping a girl from Gandhibasti Rail Line. According to source, the accused who is resident from Ujanbazar kidnapped the victim on Monday from Gandhibasti Rail Line and on the same day the victim's mother lodged an FIR following which the Chandmari police arrested Paswan on Tuesday. The accused was presented to the Court on Wednesday and was sent to the judicial custody.
