One dies in car mishap

GUWAHATI, May 17: A teeger was killed on the spot when the alto car he was travelling in along with his friends smashed into a tree near the down town hospital bus stop in the wee hours today. The deceased has been identified as Akash Boro (18). Five others have sustained injuries while the condition of two of them are said to be critical. The car was coming from Jorabat towards the main city. The other passengers who were travelling in the ill-fated car are Chiranjeeb Deb, Sanjay Biswas, Bikash Thapa, Anup Chauhan and Chandrajit Boro. The condition of Chauhan and Boro is said to be critical.
