Oration on Netaji held in city

GUWAHATI, Jan 24: The Indian tiolist Alliance –North East India organized an oration on ‘Netaji: The Revolutiory Pilgrim of India’s Independence’ on the occasion of 121st birth anniversary of one of the greatest son of India Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose. The main speakers on the occasion included Major General (Retd) G D Bakshi ,Sri Chandra Kumar Bose, grand nephew of Netaji; Dr Purabi Roy, visiting professor Moscow and St Petersburgh University and Prof Kapil Kumar , Director ,Centre for Freedom Struggle and Diaspora. Chief Minister SarbandaSonowal was the Chief Guest on the occasion. In his speech, the CM dwelled on the relevance of Netaji’s ideals in the life of today’s youth for taking forward the country to dazzling heights. The I Anthem was also played on the occasion.
