Pedestrian-friendly walking zone

GUWAHATI, June 2: To introduce a pedestrian-friendly walking zone without vehicular movement in Guwahati City area, Amanjeet Kaur, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Traffic, under Section 115 of the M.V. Act, 1988 and Section 93 of the Assam Police Act, 2007 temporarily restricted ‘plying of all kind of vehicles from 5 am  to 7 am and from 7 pm to 8 pm on MG Road from Panikal (DC, Kamrup (M), Guwahati residence) to Raj Bhawan, Assam”, a press release said.
