Placement for youths in BPOs

GUWAHATI, Feb 4: 50 unemployed youths with minimum HSLC qualification were selected from Tinsukia, Dibrugarh, Charaideo, Sivasagar and Jorhat districts for providing placement in call centers across India. The youths completed a course of BPO/Call centre training under Project Swabalamban, sponsored by OIL India Ltd. Speaking on the occasion Gyanjyoti Foundation president Amit Sinha said, “The skill and placement linked programme, sponsored by OIL, would undergo a systematic approach in terms of implementation. The activity started with mobilization in the targeted areas of the state. Subsequently a written test and interview session was organized with each student to filly shortlist the eligible trainees.”
