Plea to educatiol volunteers
GUWAHATI, Sept 24: Considering the importance of the Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) degree as one of the important criteria for appearing in the special TET examition for educatiol volunteers (EVs), the Educatiol Volunteers’ Association of Assam has urged the EVs across the State to register for the D.El.Ed degree courses within September 30.
Association general secretary Sheikh Abdullah stated that the association has underscored on the registration for D.El.Ed as State Education Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma had on September 20 announced for a special TET examition for educatiol volunteers.
“The EVs should register for the programme at the earliest either in their respective institutes where they are currently working or in any private institutes to obtain the degree,” Abdullah said. He further stated that EVs can also pursue the programme though tiol Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) but one of the riders would be that they have to score 50 per cent in any of the four subjects.
