Plea to illumite city during PM's visit

GUWAHATI, May 24: In view of Prime Minister rendra Modi’s visit to the State on May 26, the Kamrup (M) admiration has appealed the business organizations to beautify the city by illumiting buildings and roads.

Kamrup (M) DC M Angamuthu on Thursday convened a meeting with various business organizations of the city at Circuit House here.

Addl. Chief Secretary (GDD) MGVK Bhanu in the meeting appealed the head of the business organizations to make Guwahati one of the cleanest cities in India in the coming days. For that he asked them to start work in this regard from now onwards. Kamrup (M) DC Angamuthu requested the business organizations to help to make Guwahati clean and to beautify the city by illumiting buildings and roads from their side in view of ensuing PM’s visit.

Kamrup DC Vinod Shesan and Addl Dy Commissioner Kamrup (M) badip Pathak were also present in the meeting.
