PMJDY Committee Constituted

Guwahati, February 18: The Government of Assam has constituted the District Level Implementation Committee under Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yoja (PMJDY) with the following members with immediate effect. The Deputy Commissioner of the concerned district will be the Chairman and the Lead District Mager will be the Secretary of the Committee. Members of the Committee comprise of senior-most representatives of Banks in the District, Senior-most officer of Insurance companies s in the District, representatives from Fincial institutions, DDM-BARD, MFIs Operating in the District, CEO-Zilla Parishad, ADC(Development) in the district, District Mager or Executive Engineer, APDCL and District Head, BSNL. The District Level implementation Committee will meet every month. The Deputy Commissioner will be present in its meeting in at least one of the two consecutive meetings.
