Poetry collection by doctor released

GUWAHATI, Nov 15: A collection of poetry -- Xorapahi -- written by Dr. Umesh Chandra Bordoloi was released by writer Riju Hazarika at Dispur Policlinic and Nursing Home auditorium in Guwahati today. Writer Manindra Chandra Baruah was the chief guest at the function that was presided over by Geeta Hatikakati. Dr. Umesh Chandra Bordoloi wrote the poems in 1950s when he was rendering medical treatment. The manuscript of the poems was recovered by his son Dr. Prabir Kumar Bordoloi recently in a vulnerable condition. He, however, made no delay to publish the book with the help of jourlist yan Kumar Sarma.
