Police medal for 33rd ITBP Bn Commandant

GUWAHATI, Oct 28: 33rd ITBP Battalion Commandant RS Chandel, Guwahati is awarded police medal for meritorious service on the occasion of Force Raising day parade by Union Home Minister Rajth Singh at a function held at Noida in Uttar Pradesh. A tive of Ponta Sahib, District, Sirmaur, HP Chandel joined the service as Assistant Commandant on December 7, 1991 and promoted to the rank of Deputy Commandant in 2001, second-in-command in 2007 and later to the rank of Commandant in 2009, a press release said.
