Political party floated

GUWAHATI, August 1: A new regiol political party, Asom Sangram Parishad (ASP), was formally floated today for, what they said, the solution to the burning problems in the state.  ASP chief convener Kazi Nekib Ahmed said in a press conference at Guwahati Press Club today said: “We have formed the conveners’ committee of the party, and soon will declare the main committee. Already we have formed committees in 10 districts with around 30,000 members. We are planning to fight the Assembly election in  2016 in all the 126 constituencies.”
