Power consumer awareness programme held

GUWAHATI, June 3: A five-day power consumer awareness programme was organized from June 1 to June 5, 2015 by Guwahati Electric Subdivision (East) of Assam Power Distribution Company Limited (APDCL) on the premises of Ganeshguri Ganesh Udyan, Guwahati. Various factors like electrical meters and meter-reading, use of electricity and power saving, precautions to avoid accidents, billing and various other matters related to power consumers were discussed in the programme. Atanu Borthakur of Guwahati Neurological Research Centre, Additiol Chief Power Inspector Trailokya Bora and Power Inspector Mohan Sarma gave tips to power consumers at the programme.
