Prag Mahotsav from August 30

GUWAHATI, Aug 27: Prag Mahotsav, the colourful programme of Pragjyotish College in the city, is going to be held from August 30 to September 5, 2017. The programmes lined-up are departmental freshmen social on August 30 and general freshmen social on August 31. On September 1, the College Teachers’ Union will hold a lecture on Pandit Tirthath Sarma on the occasion of the college foundation day. The lecture will be delivered by renowned writer Phanindra Kumar Deva Choudhury. In the evening the students will take part in a cultural programme and perfrom a drama – Kamala Kunwarir Sadhu – by Paramanda Rajbongshi, Principal in-charge of the college, at ITA Cultural Complex, Muchkhowa in the city. On September 2, the college will celebrate Id-ud-Zuha. The alumni meet of the college will be held on September 3, and the Teachers’ Day will be celebrated on September 5.
