Prayer for Lafiqul Islam Ahmed

GUWAHATI, Aug 4: Five unions took part at the peace meet at Dighalipukhripar in Guwahati on Friday praying for the eterl peace of All Bodoland Minority Students&rsquo; Union president Lafiqul Islam Ahmed, who was shot dead in Kokrajhar on Tuesday last. <br />

Members of the Muslim Students&rsquo; Union, the Krishak Sramik Unyan Parisad, the All Assam Gorikya-Moriya Yuva-Chatra Parisad, the Muslim Kalyan Parisad Assam, the Durniti Birodhi Manob Odhikar Suraksha Mancha were present at the programme. There was an-all religion prayer for the eterl peace of Islam. The members read out the Gita, the Kuran, the Bible and the Bhagavat. </p>
