Pre-Christmas gala celebrated

GUWAHATI, Dec 16: Shishu Sarothi, in participation with Sanskriti-The Gurukul and DPS Kamrup, celebrated a pre-Christmas gala today.

The programme started around 10.30 am. The executive director of Shishu Sarothi Arman Ali welcomed all the guests and students to this celebration. He talked about how through small children one can actually learn a lot and with keeping them in mind can spread the message of inclusion to all the masses, a press release said.

The programme commenced with the presentation of Christmas carols by DPS Kamrup, who also showcased their talents with songs, dances and a skit all in keeping with mind about the Christmas spirit. The members of Shishu Sarothi also sang Christmas themed songs to lift the mood of the programme.

The exchanging of gifts between Shishu Sarothi and other schools also took place amidst all the merriment. A Christmas themed cake was also being cut and chocolates and refreshments were being distributed among the students of all the schools.
