Probe into death of under trial prisoner - 11 Jul, 2017

GUWAHATI, July 10: Assistant commissioner and executive magistrate Moonmi Kalita has been entrusted to inquire into the death of under trial prisoner Babul ali alias Babu Kalita alias Babu Khan (28), son of Lt. Gopal Kalita of Raipur under Boko police station in Kamrup district at Gauhati Medical College and Hospital. She has been asked to submit her findings within 15 days on receipt of this order positively for onward submission to the NHRC and AHRC, a press release said.
