Probe into infant death at GMCH

Guwahati, March 27: Guwahati Medical College and Hospital authorities have constituted a five-member team headed by the deputy superintendent Dr P Saikia to investigate the alleged lapses by doctors which might have led to the death of a two-day-old infant recently. On Monday, the hospital authorities will hold a meeting to review the case. The Sentinel had on Friday reported about the death of an infant which put the hospital doctors under scanner. The family of the infant also lodged a complaint at Bhangagarh police outpost today.
