Probe panel’s term extended

GUWAHATI, February 7: The Assam Government has extended the term of one–man commission of inquiry headed by Justice (Retd.) B.D. Agarwal, inquiring into the circumstances that lead to the killing of Priya Basumatary by suspected NDFB extremists in Chirang district on August 20, 2014. The term has been extended for a period of  four months with effect from December 25, 2014 or till the submission of the report, whichever is earlier, a press release said.
