GUWAHATI, Aug 28: Tribute will be paid to Asompran Harendrath Baruah (November 10, 1908-August 31, 1987), one of the veterans in jourlism in Assam and a freedom fighter, at a function on August 31, 2017 at Vivekanda Kendra, Uzanbazar in the city on the occasion of his 30th death anniversary. Aruchal Times Associate Editor Tongam Ree will deliver the memorial lecture on ‘Aruchal-Assam Relations and the Media’ on that day. The programme has been organized by Harendrath Baruah Memorial Trust, Guwahati.
