PRSI Guwahati Chapter comes to the aid of destitute Children

Guwahati, 22 march : As part of its social responsibility, Public Relations Society of India (PRSI)  Guwahati Chapter doted 2 Steel Almirahs and 15 Water filters to Child Friendly Guwahati(CFG).

The materials were handed over by the Executive Body of PRSI Guwahati Chapter led by Chairperson PRSI Guwahati Chapter Madhuchanda Adhikari (NRL), General Secretary PRSI Guwahati Chapter Ms. Sita Baruah (IOCL) along with VP East PRSI to Father Thadeus Kujur , Director CFG and Mr. Deba Dutta, Senior Program Coorditor, CFG and  at a function organised by CFG at the Mama Margaret Hall, Don Bosco School, Panbazar on 21-03-18. Child Friendly Guwahati is a project under Snehalaya, a Don Bosco initiative  which works for providing  poor and vulnerable children of Kamrup (metro) with  education, nutrition, and mainstreaming.

PRSI Guwahati Chapter is one of the 35 Regiol Chapters of Public Relations Society of India (PRSI), the apex body of PR professiols and practitioners established in the year 1958. The objective of PRSI is to promote the  recognition of  PR as a profession and also to formulate and interpret the potentialities of Public Relations as a strategic magement tool. PRSI Guwahati Chapter has been providing a vibrant platform for PR and  Corporate Communications professiols to share and exchange best practices in the field. The Chapter organizes semirs, workshops and interactive sessions highlighting and bringing to the fore different perspectives of PR involving members, students, professiols and the PR fraternity at large.
