Puja special AC trains introduced

GUWAHATI, Sept 23: Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) has decided to run seven trips of Puja specials from Kamakhya in Guwahati to Andvihar in New Delhi and seven other trips from Andvihar in New Delhi to Kamakhya to help clear the rush and to cater the increasing demands of berths by traveling passengers during Puja holidays.
NFR said in a statement today: "Special train number 02503 will leave Kamakhya every Wednesday at 10 am from October 14 to November 25 to arrive Andvihar station on every Thursday during the period. During its return journey, the special train number 02504 will leave Andvihar station every Friday at 5.15 pm from October 16 to November 27 to arrive Kamakhya station on every Saturday. The train will run via Goalpara Town, New Jalpaiguri, Katihar, Barauni, Chhapra, Varasi, Lucknow and Moradabad stations on both ways. Four AC- two tier and 10 AC- three tier accommodations will be available in this special train."
The statement also said: "This special train is in addition to attachment of additiol coaches in many trains and other Puja special trains that are being run between Kamakhya to Bangalore and back, Kamakhya to Pune and back, Guwahati to Gorakhpur and back, Guwahati to Kochuveli in Trivandrum and back, Katihar to Ferozpur and back and New Jalpaiguri to Sealdah or Howrah and back. The booking of tickets for these trains have already started."
