Purohit congratulates Ram th Kovind

Guwahati, July 20: Assam Governor Banwarilal Purohit has congratulated President-elect Ram th Kovin who is set to succeed Prab Mukherjee as the next President of India. In a statement here today, Governor Purohit said that Kovind who hails from Uttar Pradesh has had an illustrious career wherein he worked for amelioration of the weaker sections of the society. He also said that his stint as the Governor of Bihar and his subsequent election to the post of President would augur well for sustaible positive actions for the development of whole of the country. State BJP president Ranjit Dass also congratulated Kovind.
