GUWAHATI, Feb 27: Governor of Assam and Meghalaya Banwarilal Purohit expressed his deep sense of grief and dismay at the loss of life of 17 people who were killed in West khasi Hills in Meghalaya on Sunday morning. The deceased belonged to Nginiong, Nongbudum and Mawbyrkong villages in West Khasi Hills of the Hill State. Purohit conveyed his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family members and wished speedy recovery of those who sustained injuries.
