GUWAHATI, Oct 5: Guwahati police conducted raids in the Paltan Bazaar area at Continental Infotech, shop No. 1 Debendrath complex near Hotel ndan Data System. A team of Paltan Bazaar police, along with the help of crime branch officials, carried a raid on October 3 in the Paltan Bazaar area and seized counterfeit products of HP.
The police arrested 35-year-old Dilip Tutra and seized 3 counterfeit HP toners - HP-12A, HP-78A, HP-88A. Tutra has been booked under section 420 and 104 trademark Act.
Mission Tejaswee launched
GUWAHATI, Oct 3: In an initiative to make Assam anemia free, the District Health Society, Kamrup has joined the rest of the state and iugurated Mission Tejaswee. This month-long programme staring from October 1 to 31 is an initiative of the tiol Health Mission, Assam to make the state free from Anemia. As part of the mission, children within the age group of 06-60 months besides pregnt women will be given iron and folic acid supplementation through the ASHAs and the ANMs, a press release said.
Children within the age group of 06-60 months will be administered IFA syrup twice a week on Saturdays and Wednesdays in Village Health and Nutrition Days (VHND sessions) in 3,114 Anganwadi Centres across the District. Pregnt Women will also be given IFA tablets in this sessions.
Kamrup Deputy Commissioner Vinod Sehan visited the sessions on AWCs in the district.
