RCPI against individual pattas to farmers

GUWAHATI, Dec 29: “The state farmers shouldn’t be allotted individual land pattas, because after getting pattas they will sell the land to others,” said Revolutiory Communist Party of India (RCPI) state committee member Paramesh Das today. Speaking to the press, Das said in Dispur Press Club: “The farmers of the state are all in a very pathetic condition. If they are provided the individual land pattas, the first need of them will be the money and for that they will sell their lands to others. Therefore, it’s better to provide them the pattas jointly.” Das said: “As a Left party, we will combine with other Left parties of the state and  participate in the 2016 Assembly elections. We’ll field candidates in six constituencies – Moran, Bihpuria, Botodrawa, Mahmora, Amguri and Dhing.”
