'Religious tolerance is key to peace in society'

GUWAHATI, Sept 27: As many as five representatives from different religions took part in the Sarba-Dharma Samabhav Sanmelan held at Terapanth Bhavan at Fancy Bazar from 9 am today on the occasion of Anubrat Udjapon Week.  
The five are Bhadra Krish Gossai from Jokaibari Xatra, Fancy Bazar Jama Masjid Imam Mufti Mahammed Mustafi, Fancy Bazar Gurudwara Mukhya Granthi Bhai Ranjit Singh, NE Baptist Church Deputy Secretary GP Amalraj, and Sadhvi Sri Mangalprajji and Sadhvi Sri Animashreeji of Anubrat Samiti. After a long discussion on religious tolerance they came to the conclusion that each and every religion should have respects for other religions, a situation that will let peace prevail in society. Anubrat is a movement being carried out by Anubrat Samiti. The movement lays tress on human values based on good behaviour, humanity and ethics by going beyond caste, creed, religion, gender, language etc
