Reme Rajiv Chowk as Lachit Chowk'

GUWAHATI, August 2: The Sangbad Sahitya Sanskritik Mancha, Asom (SSSMA) has raised the demands for reming ‘Rajiv Chowk’ at Jalukbari as ‘Lachit Chowk’ and making Assamese a compulsory subject in all schools regardless of their media of instruction. The Mancha has reconstituted its committee with Dipak Sarma as the president at a meeting held recently.
