Retired bank employees seek fulfillment of demands

GUWAHATI, March 16: The All India Bank Retirees Federation (AIBRF) secretary Ranjit Bhattacharya in a press conference here today said that various genuine demands of retired bank employees (public sector banks including State Bank of India), which is based on equity and justice are not responded by the banking authorities and the Central Government. He said that most of their demand including updating of basic pension, improvement in family pension, 100% DA to pre 2002 retires, merge of DA upto 4440 pints in basic pension and periodical updating of pension at the time of each wage settlement in future.
