Rongalir Rong underway

GUWAHATI, April 4: Rongalir Rong (hues of Rongali Bihu) is a ten-day exhibition currently underway at Lakhidhar Bora Khetra in the city from today. The exhibition, organized by Chiro Seuj Kalakrishti Kendra, a women’s NGO, will conclude on April 10. A large number of self-help groups (SHGs) from Titabor, Dhakuakha, Sivasagar, Dhemaji, according to Chiro Seuj Kalakrishti Kendra president, are taking part in the exhibition with stalls. On April 8 an art competition will be held at the exhibition site. It will be followed by Chiro Seuj Soru Bihuati competition on April 9 along with a cultural programme.
