Royal Global School celebrates founders’ day

GUWAHATI, Jan 9: Royal Global School celebrated its  Founders’ Day recently. The occasion was graced by State Chief Minister Sarbanda Sonowal as the chief guest, State Chief Information Commissioner Himangshu Shekhar Das as the guest of honour, Chairman AK Pansari, vice-chairman AK Modi, Prof. Dr. SP Singh Vice Chancellor of The Assam Royal Global University and Senior Vice-President of the Gyan Sagar Foundation, Executive Vice President Ankur Pansari, Principal Anubha Goyal, Vice Principal Mrinmoy Kanti Das and other esteemed guests.

The ceremony started with the song ‘Heal the World’ by the school choir followed by the staging of the dance-drama ‘Krish’. The drama portrayed Krish in various perspectives- a God-child, a prankster, a model lover, a divine hero, the supreme power, and the seeker and knower.

The entire life of Krish was depicted since his birth to death. In this programme, the toppers of all the streams of the batch 2015-16 were felicitated along with the tiol Awardees for sports and academics. The in-house production ‘Hues of ture’- a music album was also released. The album epitomizes ture in its different forms through music, a press release said.

The guests were enthralled by the Art Exhibition wherein the art works of the students were displayed. The exhibition included works of different mediums such as charcoal study, pen and ink, water color and many more.
