Rs 3.30 lakh looted in city

GUWAHATI, August 6: A gang of three miscreants looted Rs 3.30 lakh from an employee of HDFC Bank, Amit Sinha, near the bank’s Rukminigaon branch in the city today. It may be mentioned that a gang of 5-6 robbers looted Rs 17 lakh in cash from the busy GS Road area on Wednesday night. The police have launched a man hunt to b those behind the robbery. The robbery has raised questions on the prevailing security measures in the city.
