GUWAHATI, Jan 23: Along with rest of Assam, the Guwahati Committee of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) today observed the Path Sanchala Divas in Guwahati. The Sangh paid tribute to Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose on the occasion of the birth anniversary of the great leader.

Around 3,000 RSS activists gathered at Soram High School playground. The meeting was addressed by a number of top RSS leaders, including Akhil Bharatiya Sahasampark Promuhk Sunil Despande, Sanchalak Satish Tohbildar, Sahasanchalak Guruprasad Medhi and others.

Speaking on the occasion, Despande said: “The RSS has been working for tiol security and integrity of the Hindus, not for promoting commulism. It should rather be called a tiol organization, not a Hindu organization as the tion comes first.”

They took out a procession from Bharalumukh to Kamahya Gate and back on the occasion at 10 am today.
