Rural health security committee organises Gandhi Jayanti

GUWAHATI, Oct 2: The All Assam Rural Health Security Committee (AARHSC) organised Gandhi Jayanti in its office premises in the city today.

Also marking the day as the committee's foundation day, AARHSC working president Gyanendra Boro payed tribute to Gandhiji's statue. General secretary Babu Das gave a detailed account on Gandhiji's ideology with the health workers on the occasion. He said that the AARHSC scheme came into being on October 2, 1977. The health workers also took part in a am- prasanga on the occasion.
