Sahitya Akademi awardee Kula Saikia felicitated

GUWAHATI, Jan 8: Sahitya Akademi awardee ula Saikia  state was felicitated by Srimanta Foundation for Culture and Society (SFCS) and Magazine ‘Arakkhir Prithivi’ in a programme at Guwahati Press Club today. Chief Guest of the programme litterateur Birandra th Dutta felicitated Saikia with two felicitation letters from the both organizations, a gamosa and xorai on behalf of the organizers. Dutta said: “It is a privilege for me to felicitate the eminent writer. Saikia has more than 20 books of short stories, novel and drama to his credit.”
