Sahityarathi's house: DPR Nov 22

GUWAHATI, Nov 7: Giving a positive direction to the initiatives taken for preserving the residence of Sahityarathi Lakshmith Bezbaroa at Sambalpur in Orissa, a meeting was held on Tuesday between Sambalpur Deputy Commissioner and Indian tiol Trust for Art and Cultural Heritage (INTACH), the organization responsible for the maintence of the property. Media Adviser to the Chief Minister Hrishikesh Goswami was informed by Dipak Panda, renowned jourlist and Chairman of INTACH that the Detailed Project Report (DPR) for preserving and transforming the residence of Sahityarathi into a heritage centre would be ready by November 22, 2017.    

Informing that the survey for undertaking the preservation work has been completed on Tuesday, Panda intimated Goswami that the people of Orissa have been eagerly looking forward to the visit of Chief Minister Sarbanda Sonowal to the state and he also expressed optimism that the foundation stone for the preservation and renovation work of Sahityarathi’s residence can be laid by Chief Minister Sonowal during his visit to Orissa.
