Saradha scam: CBI ’grills’ Sakalbela publisher

GUWAHATI, January 19: Those who have their mes figured in the Saradha Group fincial scandal have a bout of the jitters today when Dwibon Deka, publisher of Sakalbela, was grilled for two hours by the CBI at its Guwahati headquarters in connection with the scam.

According to sources, Deka was grilled for two hours from 11 am along with his wife.

However, after coming out from the CBI office, Deka denied that he was grilled by the investigating agency. “I have just submitted some papers that weren’t submitted earlier,” he said. According sources in the CBI, more politicians and businessmen of the state may be summoned by the investigating agency to grill them in connection with the scandal.
