Sarbanda quits as State BJP chief

GUWAHATI, June 6: Chief Minister Sarbanda Sonowal today quit as State BJP president and handed over is responsibilities to State vice president of the party Shantanu Bharali. Bharali will do the duty of the State president of the party till a full-fledged president is appointed. This has been done with approval from tiol leader of the party, Ajay Jamwal.
