Sarbanda Sonowal should apologize for misleading people'

GUWAHATI, March 3: Alleging that Union minister of state Sarbanda Sonowal misled the people of the State in the me of laying foundation stone of bridges connecting Sivasagar-Desangmukh-Dhakuakha and North Lakhimpur-Majuli-Jorhat, press adviser to the chief minister Bharat rah asked him to apologize to the people.
“The foundation stone was laid with no DPR or survey. Union minister Nitin Gadkari laid the foundation stone on Feb 27 and the Government of India sent a letter to the State government on Feb 26, one day ahead asking us to engage a consultant to prepare DPR on the bridges,” rah said as he distributed the copy of the letter sent from New Delhi.
