'Say no to toy guns for your kids'

GUWAHATI, Oct 19: The Sachetan garik Mancha, Axom (SNMA) has started street plays so as to bring about the fallouts of violence that is set to spoil the coming generation. Such street plays will be staged all over the State so as to make children to concentrate on moral lesson.  

ADGP (Special Branch) Pallab Bhattacharjee iugurated a street play at Bhetapara in Guwahati yesterday. The IPS officer said: “Family is the first institution for social reforms, it is the duty of parents to impart moral lessons to their wards in the family. Instead of giving toy guns, toy pistols etc., to their wards, parents must give them story books.”

The street play was written by Chandan Bhattacharjee.
