SBI organizes Intertiol Women’s Day

Guwahati, March 8: Intertiol Women’s Day is being organised to re-energize the day as an important platform to celebrate the successful achievements of women and to continue calls for accelerating gender parity. State Bank of India, North Eastern Circle also observed Intertiol Women’s Day on March 8, 2017. A felicitation programme was organized at Banks’ Local Head Office where ten eminent women persolities of Assam were felicitated.

Padmashree Eli Ahmed(Assamese Literature), Varli Deka IAS , CEO, GMDA, Amanjeet Kaur, IPSDeputy Commissioner  of police, Traffic, Guwahati Metro. Subashini Sankaran, IPS, Superintendent of Police, Chief Minister Security 1, Assam, Dr. Jahara Begum noted writer and actress from Tezpur.

The programme was continued with felicitation of two women SHGs and a woman Bank Mitra.  SBI felicitated both secretary and president of Biranga SHG and Bastabmukhi SHG.

The entire programme was held in presense of PVSLN Murty, Chief General Mager, P.L. Das, General Mager of North Eastern Circle, Cynthia Noronha, DGM & Circle Credit Officer, Anjali Lyndem, Dy General Magerbesides other bank executives and  employees of SBI. This was stated in a press release.
