Scholarship to Hemophilia patients

GUWAHATI, July 16: The Guwahati chapter of Hemophilia Society, in collaboration with the Clinical Hematology Department of Gauhati Medical College & Hospital, presented educatiol scholarships to 31 children with Hemophilia from economically backward families of Assam on Sunday at Dighalipukhuri Park in the city. These 31 children with Hemophilia are supported by a USA-based organization ‘Save One Life’. The event was attended by Director Health Services Dr. Rathindra Bhuyan and HOD of Department of Hematology of GMCH Dr. Ji Bhattacharyya. As per the scholarships each children will be given an amount of Rs 7,276 per month.
