Self employment awareness camp organized

GUWAHATI, March 31: A three-day self employment awareness camp was organized at Gauhati University from March 28 to 30. The main motive to organize this camp was to attract the youth for self employment. “It is a good initiative and this kind of awareness camp would help the students in near future.” Mridul Hazarika, vice chancellor of Gauhati University said in his welcome speech. Participating in the awareness camp the Director of Indian Self Employment Institution Manoj Kumar Das and HoD of Magement department Dr Manoj Kumar Choudhury spoke at a length on the prospects of self employment. Organized by the Gauhati University Student Union in association with the Department of MBA and Department of Commerce the three-day workshop was supported by the Ministry of  Soft Skill Development and Self  Employment. More than 200 students participated in the three-day workshop.
