Semir on Bhupen Hazarika held in GU

Guwahati, Dec 23: A tiol-level semir was held in the Department of Hindi, Gauhati University, on Bhupen Hazarika’s persolity and diverse genre of works.  An alumni meet was also organized on the occasion.  The Vice Chancellor of Gauhati University, Dr. Mridul Hazarika iugurated the function. Dr. Hariprasad Sharma was present as the special guest.  A book, Purvoday Shodh Mimangsa, edited by Dr. Ritamoni Baishya, was released on the occasion. Prof. Vidya Shankar Shukla delivered a lecture on Bhupen Hazarika.
