GUWAHATI, Nov 9: The Assam Down Town University is going to organize a two-day intertiol semir here on ‘Landslides and Riverbank Erosion’ on December 12 and 13. The semir is expected to throw some light to better understand the problem from an engineering point of view and allow for a scope to adapt modern technologies available in some developed countries in the context of Assam. Resource persons from countries such as US , Japan, Thailand, Vietm, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh and Nepal will actively deliberate on these problems.
