GUWAHATI, Feb 18: An interactive session on ‘Recent Advances in Physiotherapy across the Globe and an Overview on Importance of Hands on Skills for Physiotherapists’ was held at Assam Down Town University in Guwahati recently.
Organized by Dr. Abhijit Dutta PT, Head of the Department of Physiotherapy of the university, the session had the likes of Emin Hasic from Switzerland and Sohrab Sharma from Chandigarh, two eminent experts in the field of physiotherapy and chief instructors of Art of Manipulation as resource persons.
Assam Down Town University Pro Vice Chancellor Dr. H.K. Das, Prof. Banda Dutta (Dean of Studies) and Dr. B.G.Unni (research director) were present at the session that was attended by students from College of Physiotherapy and Medical Sciences, Bonda and Regiol Institute of Paramedical Technology, Panjabari, apart from the students of Assam Down Town University.
