SI caught while taking bribe

GUWAHATI, Oct 19: Dispur SI Jyoti Bania was arrested by Vigilance and Anti-Corruption sleuths while taking Rs 20,000 as bribe from a person last night. According to police, the SI sought the amount from a woman to speed up a case under his investigation. The woman moved the Vigilance and Anti-Corruption Cell in this regard, and the SI was caught red-handed.
